1st Certified PBLS Seminar at the Epirus XR Center

The 1st certified Pediatric Basic Life Support (PBLS) seminar was successfully held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Epirus Region Center for Virtual, Epirus XR Center, as part of the ongoing and meaningful collaboration with the Greek humanitarian resuscitation organization KIDS SAVE LIVES – Children Save Lives.

The trainees participated in the seminar, where they had the opportunity to receive both theoretical and practical training in critical skills related to Pediatric Basic Life Support, with the goal of responding promptly and effectively to emergencies involving infants and children.

During the training, participants became familiar with basic yet critically important skills, such as:

• Recognizing an emergency situation in a child or infant
• Pediatric Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• Use of an Automated External Defibrillator
• Managing choking in children and infants
• Basic principles of safe and immediate intervention

The training was conducted by certified instructors, who, through their professionalism, experience, and interactive approach, imparted valuable knowledge and practical skills to the participants. Through hands-on practice and active participation, the trainees enhanced their readiness to respond in critical situations where immediate intervention can prove decisive.

Upon completion of the seminar, participants received official Pediatric Basic Life Support (PBLS) certification, acquiring knowledge and skills that contribute significantly to protecting children’s lives and strengthening a culture of prevention and immediate assistance in society.

The collaboration between the Epirus XR Center and KIDS SAVE LIVES continues to thrive, with the shared goal of promoting first aid education, empowering citizens, and creating a society that is better prepared, more informed, and more compassionate.
