technology, education and awareness will take place on Wednesday 14 May in Ioannina, at the 2nd Vesperinos EPAL, bringing together pupils, students, teachers, institutions and the general public in an interactive and educational afternoon.<\/p><p><span class=\"--l --r sentence_highlight\">The action is implemented in collaboration with the 2nd Evening School of Ioannina, the Human Computer Interaction Laboratory (HCILAB) of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Ioannina (DIT|UOI), the Center of Virtual, <\/span><span class=\"--l sentence_highlight\">Augmented and Mixed Reality Region of Epirus (EpirusXRCenter), the IEEE Student Branch University of Ioannina | Arta, and the humanitarian organization Kids Save Lives, highlighting the power of collaboration and community.<\/span><span class=\"--r sentence_highlight\"><br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"--l sentence_highlight\">The public will have the opportunity to tour thematic, interactive stations with activities such as:<\/span><span class=\"--r sentence_highlight\"><br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"--l sentence_highlight\">&#8211; Virtual and Augmented Reality,<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"--l sentence_highlight\">&#8211; Simulations with eye and hand tracking,<\/span><span class=\"--r sentence_highlight\"><br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"--l sentence_highlight\">&#8211; Creations through Artificial Intelligence,<\/span><span class=\"--r sentence_highlight\"><br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"--l sentence_highlight\">&#8211; CPR and First Aid training activities through VR,<\/span><span class=\"--r sentence_highlight\"><br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"--l sentence_highlight\">&#8211; IoT workshops and hands-on training experiences, and much more.<\/span><span class=\"--r sentence_highlight\"><br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"--l --r sentence_highlight\">In addition, competitive knowledge and technical skills games such as &#8220;CPR Hero&#8221; and &#8220;Match the Step&#8221; will motivate participation and fun, while creative booths such as &#8220;Talk to the Camera&#8221; and &#8220;VR Selfie Spot&#8221; will engage the audience in an experiential and personal way.<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"--l sentence_highlight\">The event aims to strengthen the connection between technology and everyday life, to promote the importance of immediate intervention in emergencies and to inspire the new generation through experience, collaboration and imagination.<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"--l
