1st Certified First Aid Seminar for the new academic year at EpirusXRCenter

The first certified Basic Life Support (BLS) seminar for the new academic year was successfully held at the Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality Center of the Region of Epirus (EpirusXRCenter), as part of the ongoing and close cooperation with the humanitarian organization Kids Save the Children. Augmented and Mixed Reality Center of the Region of Epirus (EpirusXRCenter), as part of the ongoing and close collaboration with the humanitarian organization Kids Save Lives.

The EpirusXRCenter, continuing for another year to operate as a First Aid Certification Center, welcomed trainees who were trained theoretically and practically in basic life-saving skills, such as:

• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

• Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

• Choking management

• Recovery and safety position

Participants had the opportunity to be trained under the guidance of certified volunteer instructors from the Kids Save Lives organization, who shared their experience and knowledge with the aim of strengthening the culture of prevention and giving.

BLS certification, recognized by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), provides participants with valuable skills for responding effectively to emergencies—knowledge that saves lives.

The collaboration between EpirusXRCenter and Kids Save Lives continues dynamically, confirming the common goal of spreading first aid education and creating a more informed, responsible society that is ready to act when needed.
