With impressive participation and in an atmosphere of enthusiasm, another Basic Life Support (BLS) seminar was held on Saturday 1 June 2024 at EpirusXRCenter, the official First Aid Certification Centre in Arta, in collaboration with KIDSSAVELIVES – Children Save Lives.
The seminar, hosted in the modern premises of the Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality Centre of Epirus (VREAC) of the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications, attracted a large number of participants, who received vital training in techniques that can prove life-saving in emergency situations.
During the programme, the trainees gained knowledge and skills in:
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) – CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) – Use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED)
Side resuscitation position
Dealing with choking from a foreign body
The active participation and interest of the attendees were highly commended by the organizers, who also thanked the volunteer instructors for their valuable contribution to the smooth running of the seminar.
