On Thursday, February 27, 2025, the Model Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality Center of the Region of Epirus hosted 34 students (including the students of the Chemistry Group) from the Model Gymnasium of Zosimaia School of Ioannina and their accompanying teachers, offering them a unique experience.

As part of the visit, the students participated in Virtual and Augmented Reality stations, where they had the opportunity to interact with advanced technological environments and learn about their applications in everyday life. In addition, they had the opportunity to interact with a robotic arm, understanding basic principles of robotics and automation.

Of particular interest was the presentation of the driving simulator, where students watched their teachers test its capabilities in a realistic, virtual driving environment, thus gaining a first insight into the applications of simulation in the field of education and safety.

The visit is part of the Model Centre’s interface with the educational community, aiming to showcase innovative technologies and foster students’ interest in science, technology and robotics.
