Certified BLS Seminar by Kids Save Lives Organization at the Virtual Augmented and Mixed Reality Center of Epirus Region

The certified Basic Life Support (BLS) seminar, which took place on 23 March 2025 at the Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality Centre (AERC) of the Region of Epirus, in collaboration with the humanitarian organization Kids Save Lives, was successfully completed.

The seminar was attended by 13 trainees, who were trained both theoretically and practically in basic first aid and CPR skills. The training focused on the following techniques:

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Choking management
  • Lateral resuscitation/safety position

All the trainers who participated in the programme were certified volunteers of Kids Save Lives, contributing with their experience and dedication to spreading the knowledge and importance of first aid.

The BLS certification, internationally recognised by the European Resuscitation Council, is an important asset not only for health professionals, but also for any citizen who wishes to be able to respond effectively to a critical situation.

The collaboration between the CPRC and Kids Save Lives is part of a wider effort to promote first aid education, with the aim of creating a more aware society ready to offer help when needed.
