On Tuesday, January 27, 2026, the Epirus XR Center welcomed its first educational visit of the 2026 calendar year, hosting 55 students and 4 instructors for a unique experience of immersive technologies.

Participants had the opportunity to come into contact with modern Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality technologies, try out simulators, eye tracking systems, as well as advanced educational and research equipment.

The presentation in the CAVE room made a particularly strong impression, where students enjoyed a fully immersive experience, highlighting the potential of technology in education, research, and innovation.

The Epirus XR Center continues to grow in 2026, strengthening the link between education and emerging technologies and offering experiential learning experiences that inspire the next generation.
