EpirusXRCenter was delighted to hold its traditional New Year’s cake cutting ceremony, in an event that combined celebration, information, and technological experience. The event was attended by the center’s student team, HCILAB members, and new students, who had the opportunity to learn in depth about the history, activities, and future goals of the laboratory.

The event was not limited to the festive atmosphere: participants had the opportunity to try out the center’s new equipment, including the drone, the Rokoko motion capture system, the EEG Gnotilus, the Katwalk, the simulator, and other innovative tools. This experience allowed students to familiarize themselves with advanced Virtual and Augmented Reality technologies, as well as cutting-edge systems used in research and education.

The event was an excellent opportunity to strengthen cooperation between students and research teams, while also marking the beginning of a new year full of goals, innovation, and creativity in the field of XR technologies.
