On Thursday, February 5, 2026, the EpirusXRCenter – Model Center for Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality of the Region of Epirus, welcomed 32 students and 3 teachers from the 5th Gymnasium of Arta to its facilities as part of an educational visit aimed at familiarizing students with modern immersive technologies.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to try out Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) applications, learn about the operation and capabilities of an eye tracking system, and watch a presentation in the CAVE environment, enjoying a fully immersive multi-view experience.

At the same time, as part of a related activity, the students participated in an experiential workshop entitled “First Aid and Technology,” where they practiced virtual emergency scenarios using Virtual Reality systems, gaining valuable knowledge and experience in a safe and controlled digital environment.

Through interactive activities and experiential learning, the students came into contact with cutting-edge technologies used in education, health, and innovation, while also learning about the modern applications of XR technology and the future educational and professional prospects opening up in this field.
