The educational event entitled “Artificial Intelligence and VR Workshop,” organized by EpirusXRCenter and IEEE Student Branch University of Ioannina | Arta, in collaboration with the 1st EPAL Ioannina and the 1st Laboratory Center of Ioannina.

The training took place at the 1st Laboratory Center of Ioannina and attracted the interest of educators who wish to learn about and utilize modern technologies in the educational process.

The aim of the action was to familiarize teachers with cutting-edge technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Reality (VR), as well as to explore practical ways of integrating them into teaching.

During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to:

learn about basic concepts and applications of Artificial Intelligence in education,

participate in experiential Virtual Reality experiences,

explore examples of VR use in laboratory and theoretical courses,

discuss good practices, challenges, and prospects for the digital transition in the modern classroom.

The action highlighted the important role that immersive technologies and artificial intelligence can play in creating more interactive, experiential, and effective learning experiences.

At the same time, it provided a valuable opportunity for dialogue and exchange of experiences between educators and researchers, strengthening the link between education and technological innovation.

The initiative is part of a broader framework of actions to promote innovation in education and strengthen the digital skills of teachers, contributing to the creation of a modern and dynamic learning environment.
