Visit by Loutro High School to the EpirusXRCenter
The EpirusXRCenter (Center for Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality of the Region of Epirus) was pleased to welcome, on Tuesday, April 1, 2026, 13 students from Loutro High School, accompanied by 2 teachers, on a special educational visit focused on modern technologies.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to try out the driving simulator, gaining hands-on experience in a safe and controlled environment. At the same time, they learned about the capabilities of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), exploring interactive digital environments.
The presentation of the automatic piano generated particular interest, impressing attendees as it “played on its own,” combining technology and art. Equally impressive was the drone demonstration, which, utilizing Artificial Intelligence functions, could autonomously follow users, offering a dynamic and modern interactive experience.
The visit concluded with overwhelmingly positive feedback, as both students and teachers expressed their enthusiasm for the technologies they encountered and the experiences they gained.
The EpirusXRCenter continues to open its doors to the educational community, offering innovative activities that bring young people closer to the future of technology.
