The EpirusXRCenter (Center for Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality of the Region of Epirus) was pleased to host, on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, a special afternoon event featuring: the Arta Evening Vocational High School and the Arta Student Athletic and Cultural Group (A.P.O.F.A.).

The visit turned into a fully interactive experience, where participants had the opportunity to learn about and—most importantly—try out all of the Center’s technologies firsthand.

They toured the impressive CAVE (Cave Automatic Virtual Environment) system, experiencing immersive digital environments
They explored Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR) applications (MR)
They interacted with eye-tracking systems, discovering how the technology “reads” the gaze
They tried out the driving simulator, gaining experience in controlled digital scenarios

The experience culminated in an impressive nighttime drone flight, offering a different perspective on the technology and providing a unique conclusion to the visit.

This event once again highlighted the role of the EpirusXRCenter as a vibrant hub of innovation, education, and experiential learning, bringing together students and the technology of tomorrow.

The EpirusXRCenter continues to open its doors to educational and social groups, offering experiences that combine knowledge, technology, and inspiration.
