Basic Instructor Course (BIC) Held at the Epirus XR Center
The Basic Instructor Course (BIC) was successfully held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Epirus Region Center for Virtual, Epirus XR Center, as part of the ongoing and meaningful collaboration with the Greek humanitarian organization KIDS SAVE LIVES – Children Save Lives.
Trainees participated in the seminar, where they had the opportunity to learn the basic principles of the educational process, acquiring valuable knowledge and skills for effectively imparting knowledge in first aid and resuscitation seminars.
During the Basic Instructor Course, participants received both theoretical and practical training on key topics, such as:
• Basic principles of adult education
• Organization and presentation of educational content
• Effective communication with trainees
• Group management during training
• Providing feedback and assessing skills
• Developing confidence and responsibility as a trainer
The training was conducted by certified trainers, who, with professionalism, experience, and an interactive approach, guided participants through all stages of the training process. Through hands-on practice, presentations, and active participation, the trainees strengthened their skills as future instructors.
The Basic Instructor Course is an important step in developing new instructors who will help spread knowledge, promote prevention, and ensure a rapid response to emergencies. Training new instructors substantially strengthens the mission of the first aid community by creating more people capable of sharing vital knowledge with society.
The partnership between the Epirus XR Center and KIDS SAVE LIVES continues to thrive in 2026, with the shared goal of empowering citizens, promoting first aid education, and creating a society that is better prepared, more informed, and more compassionate.
