The EpirusXRCenter (Center for Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality of the Region of Epirus) was pleased to welcome, on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, 40 students from the Diasselos High School in Arta, as part of an educational visit to learn about modern technologies.

During the visit, the students were given a tour of the center’s facilities and had the opportunity to experience firsthand innovative technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), eye-tracking systems, simulations, and other interactive applications used in education, research, and innovation.

Students participated in interactive presentations and hands-on activities, through which they learned how immersive technologies can transform the learning experience and enhance creativity and understanding.

Virtual environment applications generated particular interest, as students had the opportunity to interact with digital scenarios and discover the possibilities that new technologies offer for the education of the future.

The EpirusXRCenter continues to support outreach initiatives and educational visits, enabling students and teachers to engage with cutting-edge technologies and be inspired by the possibilities of digital innovation.
